Movable holidays include Sham an-Nassim (Breath of Spring), of ancient origin, as well as such Muslim religious holidays as 'Id al-Fitr, 'Id al'Adha', and the 1st of Muharram (Muslim New Year). HOLIDAYS: New Year's Day, 1 January Evacuation Day, 18 June Revolution Day, 23 July Armed Forces Day, 6 October Popular Resistance Day, 24 October Victory Day, 23 December. WEIGHTS AND MEASURES: The metric system is the official standard, but various local units also are used: 1 feddan, consisting of 333.3 kassabah, equals 0.42 hectare (1.038 acres). There are coins of 1, 5, 10, and 20 piasters and notes of 25 and 50 piasters and 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 1000 pounds. I dunno, it's really difficult to say, 'cause I couldn't figure out if he was launching from an hdd or not.FLAG: The flag is a tricolor of three horizontal stripes -red, white, and black -with the national emblem in the center white stripe. the freezing that member mentioned - I encountered none of that, so either he's using an outdated launch elf (using 4.42b - the latest before it was all hdd stuff I believe, and later versions causing that copy and paste error that I encountered) or it just simply doesn't work correctly with his setup. it did work for me via launch.elf, but that was already from media that should've worked to begin with. ![]() ![]() I'm assuming the SYSTEM.CNF isn't even needed if launching the elf by itself since the elf contains the information itself? that's probably y it worked with those bad burns. I tried ur iso on two laptops, and the result was the same with that error, so unless I burn another disc with just the files as they were originally, it's difficult to say which of the two were the cause. ![]() I compared that SYSTEM.CNF with one I already had on my laptop which is why I made that change. I'm assuming that the system was expecting four characters for the version number before it moved on to video mode (vmode). that splash screen did appear when I burned the files after modifying the SYSTEM.CNF. the "this disc cannot be played" error occurs without a ps2 logo splash screen. I don't know what would happen with incorrect save settings for an iso or when burning. Yeah, something wrong with the SYSTEM.CNF - that's the only time I've seen that "this disc cannot be played" error since I've seen it before.
